Tony
Great find it will make a great project and fantastic finished product. Good luck with your auction.
Hopefully no one else from the forum attends and bids up the price too high.

I was kind of wondering if this was the same one too (assuming that is the source of "Amberola's" confusion, inasmuch as Tony is in Pennsylvania.Amberola wrote:I'm confused?Garret wrote:It looks like this cabinet will be up for auction next weekend in New Jersey...

Re: What is this record cabinet?
I was just pointing out that this cabinet, which was under discussion previously, appears to be part of a barn sale that is coming up next Saturday (10/26) by Stasak Auction in Annandale, New Jersey, along with what appears to be a really early Victrola XII. Both great projects! For some reason the weblink isn't loading at the moment. See here: http://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/aucti ... id=1922234

Yes it is the same picture. I thought the OP had the cabinet, but possibly he's going to try to buy it. I assumed he had it and was going to sell it. My confusion was I thought I had first dib's, but looks like that may not be the case. It would make a nice cabinet for a Mahogany machine, like my Victor IV.Garret wrote:I was just pointing out that this cabinet, which was under discussion previously, appears to be part of a barn sale that is coming up next Saturday (10/26) by Stasak Auction in Annandale, New Jersey, along with what appears to be a really early Victrola XII. First dibs? Why would you think that?

You announced it Ronnie, it was just a question. This is a forum for conversation and discussion after all.
