I am keen to find a source for the rubber insert for Victor front mount elbows. jerry Madsen use to have them, and Sitko got them from Jerry. Ron is out of them. Anyone know how to get in touch w Jerry? Anyone have any extras on the shelf?
Failing that, does anyone know the inside and outside dimensions of automotive hose or any better suggestions thatI am not aware of?
Thanks in advance.
John

I think I saw them on John Nagy's website. If I recall it is phonographs.org

Re: WANTED: Rubber insert for Victor FM elbow
I used a piece of super thick bicycle inner tube cut to fit on mine without problem.
I can send you a piece if you pay shipping.

Re: WANTED: Rubber insert for Victor FM elbow
I recently bought an insert for a Columbia elbow at phonographs.org. It fits very well and looks great, even though the rubber is quite hard I think. Might also work for a Victor, but I don't know for sure.

I have high expectations of success. I heard that the Columbia and Victor FM Elbows were made by same factory and diameter specs, but Columbia in order to dodge a patent went with different connections on each end. It would be good for somebody to verify or clarify that story.
I will be sure to let you know how they fit Victor Elbows and reproducers.
