I thought it could be fun to start a topic that might generate some interesting feedback and pictures of oddball variants in cylinder record titles (excluding those with different take numbers and mould/master numbers since there are just too many!). I can recall an article years ago in Martin Bryan's New Amberola Graphic where he posted an interesting picture of a Blue Amberol cylinder title that had obviously been pressed from a master that was re-used and remnants of the original recording and title could still be seen (and heard!) on the Blue Amberol in its new life!!

Anyway, I will begin with 3 of the known Edison Blue Amberol title variants of "The Preacher And The Bear" by Arthur Collins. The most difficult variant of these to find is (what I believe to be) the earliest variant which has "COON SONG" pressed into the early flat ended title information. There is also a 4th variant of this Edison Blue Amberol title that I have in my collection with the bevel edge that indicates "ARTHUR COLLINS" instead of just "COLLINS" in the title info and it is not announced! Do you think I could find it in my collection? NOOOOO...so these 3 are what I could find so far!
