FOR SALE: Universal, Pathé, Columbia & Victor machines (SOLD

Post by Dave Beck »

I am going to try and thin out the herd some. I am selling 4 of my machines to do a little upgrading. They are located in central western Oklahoma just off of I-40. I can ship the smaller desktop machines for actual shipping and packing cost. I use a shipping company that supplies boxes packing material etc. The floor model will have to be picked up. I will consider reasonable offers on the machines, they are all in working condition.

1. Universal metal automatic. It releases the brake once the tone arm is moved to play the record.Nice shape
Asking $275.00

2. Columbia Marvel machine in great shape, plays well for as small as it is.
Asking $225.00

3. Pathé cylinder machine, looks like the Columbia "Q" does come with a cover that still has the Pathé rooster logo. probably more scarce than the Columbia, not sure.

I can e-mail additional pictures if needed.
Asking $400.00

4. Victor VV-X1 in mahogany, just restored will have new door knobs upon sale, plays great but does not have original reproducer. $300.00

Can you give more information on the machines? The Columbia is very very shiney - is that a refinish job? The Universal gold looks freshly repainted?

Both of the machines have been refinished, and are not original finishes. The universal was painted with acrylic enamel with hardner (auto paint) and I think the Columbia was lacquer finished.
Hope this helps.
