Record Cabinets for Tabletops
I rarely see a record cabinet for a Victor Victrola VV-IX, I am thinking of buying one in Mahogany. If I find one, what would be a reasonable price?

Re: Record Cabinets for Tabletops
I have two slightly different cabinets for a VV-IX in mahogany. One has like a guard rail on top that hides the feet of the VV-IX. Both need at least partial refinishing on the outside. I paid around $100 each. Depending on where you live you may pay a little less or more.
Good luck!

Re: Record Cabinets for Tabletops
About a year ago a nice oak cabinet for a VV IXA showed up at a local thrift shop here. It was set up so that the machine would drop into it and give you what looked like a floor model. I didn't buy it, because my IX is not an A type and things would not have lined up correctly, but kind of nifty. I don't remember the name of the company that made it.
