An out of the way hard to find antique shop in Railroad Pa just outside Shrewsbury is full of
phonographs of all types! I stumbled on this shop on a recent trip.
He has Credenzas, outboard horn machines, Amberolas, Edison Diamond Disc machines and many L Door Victors as well as other Victor and Columbia phonographs! Many records too!!
(717) 235-3360 call for directions!
Its worth checking out!

Re: Phonograph Shop found!
This store has been mentioned a couple of times here:
http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... f=2&t=2556
http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... f=2&t=2354
It is located right off the NCRR bike trail, which is how I found it. It seems to be rarely open (limited hours of operation), and the prices seemed high.

Does anyone know if there is a web site to this store? Might help a few people who are not close but are looking for something specific.

Going to have to check this out on one of my trips to visit family in MD.
Now to find-out what "NCR trail" is... ( I've seen the brown & white signs, but no intuitive name has come to mind...)

I've been to Skip's shop many times in the past. He has many interesting items including phonographs and lots of records. He is a pleasant person to talk to and is proud of his collection that he accumulated over several years. It is a shop worth visiting. I suggest calling ahead to make sure he is open.

NCR = North Central Railroad. See http://www.dnr.state.md.us/greenways/ncrt_trail.htmlDe Soto Frank wrote:Going to have to check this out on one of my trips to visit family in MD.

Well... now don't I feel like a dope...

I kept trying to make "National Cash Register" out of it, which didn't make any sense, as their home was Dayton, O.
Thanks Henry !
