She must also have been a remarkable Violetta in "La Traviata" if her duets with Tito Schipa, made later in her career, are anything to go by.
Schipa was another singer whose beauty of sound made up for his lack of raw power, and in duet with Galli-Curci their voices complement each other perfectly.
I can highly recommend "Schipa in Neapolitan Song" on Nimbus NI7887. His phrasing and musicianship are a joy to hear.
