Did the Go-Jo / Goop treatment soften the finish at all ?

What did you wipe it down with ( cloth, paper toweling, ? ) ?

Frank,
I find that the dirt comes off almost instantly with the GoJo (non-pumice) and paper towels.
Take your time and repeat the process several times over a week.
The finish does not seem to soften as much as it does with Cotton Cleanser.
A nice paste wax and gentle buffing with an old white tee shirt and your good to go.
