Bruswick Panatrope Portable

Post by James »

With the current popularity of portables, I think about posting my Brunswick Panatrope that I enjoy playing, loud, clear tone but not overwhelming, it is like my Brunswick Panatrope Cortez, micro size.

Yours is in better condition than mine, but this particular model is definitely my very best portable. I hesitate to praise it too highly, because I want to get another one & don't want everybody to buy them all up !

I have one of these in my studio right now, thanks to my friend and fellow Forum member "woonetophone", who's kindly lent it to me while I work on my Orthophonic Vic. This little thing can belt out a song like Sophie Tucker on a roll. Come to think of it, playing a Tucker record on it might very well break the windows. This bad boy is LOUD and clear!
