Silvertone master phonograph motor

Here is a interesting motor in my silvertone master phonograph this little motor was made by garford manufacters incorporated and is made out of cast iron I do belive the gear is a fiber gear but not sure looks like metal gearing but metal fiber motor runs well but makes a noise when I
