Question about Golden Gate Orchestra Cylinder Discogrophy

Post by EdisonCylinder223 »

Good afternoon ladies and gentleman. I am in need of a little information regarding a Golden Gate Orchestra Blue Amberol titled "Lover Come Back to Me" Fox trot. I have tried to research this title and have had little luck finding any information on the cylinder version. I also cannot make out the number as it has been heavily worn. It looks to be either 5694 or 5684. The 3rd number is the unreadable one, the rest are legible. Sadly, there are is a deeper scratch running perpendicular across ¾ of the cylinder along with a couple of smaller parallel scratches. As a side note, there is a website stating that this title was unreleased by Edison and has been reproduced by Diamond Cut Productions. Thanks in advance for any information.

The serial number is 5694 and, according to the long out of print Sydney H.Carter listing, the title was released.

Thanks for your quick reply. I figured it had been released considering: A) I have one and B) the number is below 5700. I just had no luck finding any info online about they cylinder version. Thanks again for your help.
