Fancy Cylinder Horn ?? what is it?

Fancy Cylinder Horn ?? what is it?
A friend brought this to the market. Approx 18.5 inches long,small end is about 1" outside dia and 8.5 wide at biggest . Any ideas,maybe a reworked or fancy horn. No markings.

It looks like a vase with the bottom cut off. They have been mistaken for phonograph horns in the past.

I second that. When I started collecting, I made that mistake. It functioned OK, until I got a good original horn from a fellow collector.

Cool, Thanx guys for your thoughts. I was worried she would sell it and it was something really good.
