James, these are great! I think Samm Bennett of Polarity is a wonderful guy. He frequently makes detailed posts on Metafilter (as flapjaxatmidnite) with links to interesting music from around the world, often about early blues and jazz artists. I hadn't seen these though -- thanks for pointing them out.
