Here's something from my recent auction haul (I decided to wait until Christmas day to open it).

It's a little out of my period, but the title was too hard to resist - as was the band name:

Bill, that sure beats the stuffing outta Frieda Hempel warbling O Holy Night yet again, for Christmas fun! I'll have to look for one and stash it for next December. I especially like the goose solo. No one plays goose like that anymore! Thanks!

Old stringy fowl with a side of corn. :o

And now a tender goose story...
My father-in-law is a retired butcher and loved this time of year. He'd liked to suggest that the ladies buy a duck when they requested goose. While they were surprised, he quickly explain that if they bought a duck, he would give them a goose free.
