How much is the vv-35 victrola worth ?

Post by morgantheavenger »

I just wanted to know how much a vv-35 victrola portable would cost In working condition? Probably not much in my opinion the value on the victrola page only gives it a one star for value. But hey that's just my opinion.thanks

Yeah man agreed I wad just wondering because I saw one in ebay in Las Vegas up for sale if I did get it would cost about $130.00 for shipping and it's cost to where I live in Canada. And the spring is busted. but I can order a new one for about $50.00 and refix re install it myself and regrease everything. And one other thing is missing the lid bracket is missing but all in all just simple stuff is missing. But as you said how long is a piece of string? Who knows lol. Thanks you tell me what you think sound gem Thanks From Morgan Thompson.

Morgan,
The price you quoted for shipping and getting all the parts is more than what the machine is worth. I would guess a good price would be between $150 -200 for a mint complete machine. These machines are fairly common, and you should be able to find a decent one in Canada. The most important part of this hobby is patience. Don't buy the first thing you see, especially for common items. Good luck with your search.

Try and buy this one !

This is a 1924 Victor Victrola VV-35 portable in excellent running & cosmetic condition at 89 years old! Serial number: 17597. Has it's original Victrola #2 reproducer in beautiful shape. No thumping or grinding. Winds great, runs smooth, everything works as it should. Missing carrying handle & side lid hinge, otherwise the case is in great condition which is a rare find for this model. This is your chance to get a rare Victrola portable

But this is going to be $150 including P&P to Canada ? You were considering buying a broken thing and it would cost you that to post according to your original post . that's a no brainer !
