Hi folks!
I'm looking for a gold plated crank and escutcheon for my VV-XVI. This machine is the first version cabinet used just after the L-doors were discontinued in 1912. The motor board has the speed control located at the top left corner and the switch brake is located at the top right corner.
The crank has a female end which is different from the more common, later cranks.
I have photos of the motorboard posted here:

And photos of the entire machine here:

Please respond either here or with a PM. US addresses only.
Thank you,
Fran

You may also want to check the size of the crank you need. I had one of these machines and the crank had a larger than usual interior diameter and my L door cranks wouldn't fit on it.

Re: WANTED: Crank and escutcheon for VV-XVI SN 63448 E
Thank you, John,
It seems that this crank is a bit more difficult to locate because of the female internal thread to male winding shaft threads and the length doesn't seem to be common, either. It is 5/16"-18 and I think the O.D of the crank at that end would be/is approx. ⅜", but I don't have any actually proof to substantiate my assumption, it could well have been 7/16" O.D.
At some point, I was told by someone that these handles were prone to breakage because of the thin walled threads, that certainly makes sense to me.
Fran
