I will likely break up the unit and ebay it which I dont want to do. I can't ship the base, and I KNOW it has been together since back in the day.... Its a shame because these kinds of late victors are rarely seen in this kind of set up. If there is anyone in driving distance, I will hold out a bit longer. I just feel bad about breaking it up.

I can price out a shipping option, but the record cabinet base is so big. I've also had this advertised for quite some time. My local NYC UPS store is criminal, so its prohibitive but I can talk with them if someone is interested. If someone is interested in it and willing to consider the shipping costs, let me know. I just figure no one wants to spend the few hundred it will likely run.

See if one of the passenger bus services such as greyhound or trailways can handle the shipping.

Greyhound works. I sent a big machine to California. The issue is that I have to carry it by hand, to Times Square on the SUBWAY! I've done it once, it was pretty rough! But people like to see a phonograph on the train! I don't own a car sadly. Thanks for all these tips tho.
