Union 2014 - June 13th, 14th, & 15th

Post by Jerry B. »

If you are tempted to go to Union this June, the show starts Friday, June 13th and ends on Sunday, June 15th. There are quite a few collectors that can give good Union advice if wanted. Jerry

While I haven't been yet, but hope to soon, I get the impression that Union is the best phono show in the country. Would those of you who have been to different shows agree?

I'd say Union is certainly the biggest of any I've ever been to. Unfortunately, I can't swing the trip there every year, but having the Wayne show twice a year and just a couple of hours' drive away makes up for it. I'd say the Wayne show is the second largest and one I have only missed a couple of times in well over 14 years. I always come home with neat stuff regardless, too.

I've never been to a show, but plan to go this year. Jerry has a couple of interesting goodies for me!

I have never been disappointed with Union. I always go home with a treasure. I see good friends I only see once a year and then there's Jasper"s. There's nothing quite like it. Jerry

I was spoiled early on in my collecting years when I attended Union for the first time. Now close to 30 years later I have not missed a year and will be there this year also. In my opinion it's still the largest and best phonograph show to attend, and Jasper's is just undescribable icing on the cake. My wife always knows the answer when she asks what would I like to do for Fathers Days, UNION of course.
Best Regards, Larry

I'll be there again this year, right across the aisle from Jerry.
Hopefully I'll get to meet a few forum members this year!

I've missed very few Union shows in the past 20 years or so. When it conflicted with my 30th anniversary I decided to take my wife out to an extravagant dinner in Chicago, then spend the days at the show....... Dodged a bullet with that ploy!

But this year I'm afraid I won't be there. My daughter is getting married on the 14th and as fanatic as I am about my phonograph collection, that takes precedence. ;)
