Victor Advertising Record

I know that Columbia and Edison produced advertising records for their machines. However, what about Victor? If they did, what does it look like?

The only one I've run across is a 10" Orthophonic (black "Scroll" label),"There is no compromise for purity of tone", narrated by Milton J. Cross (who for many years was the on-air host of the Texaco Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcasts).

It was a whole "production", with a fanfare played by an orchestra, "playing-on" Mr. Cross, who then went-on to describe the wonderful new Victor technology in all sorts of flowery prose, with examples interjected by the orchestra, then the "B" side was all music, again, demonstrating the superior sound quality of the new process / machines.

I believe the orchestra was the Victor Symphony, under the direction of Nathaniel Shillkret.

I haven't listened to it for years, but it was pitching either the "new" Othophonic machines, or the new Electrolas...

Atwater Kent radio produced an excellent demonstration disc for dealers selling the "Golden Voice" radio-phonograph. It's a 12 inch center start disc made by Columbia.
