Ay, ay, ay! Look at that turntable! What are the chances this still has its horn?

That is a good enough cabinet that you could switch the guts out of another Credenza, including the horn.

Re: Great Leather Front Credenza Project!
Actually, yeah, that's what I was just coming back to say. The leather on this looks great, not messed with or degraded, or even worse, "touched up". It would really be worth taking one with a poor cabinet but good internals and marrying the two. How portable are the horns, though? Mine looks to me like it would be just as easy to transfer it as to disassemble, move, and rebuild a post and beam barn.
Definitely a worthwhile project, though.

I would be on it in a heartbeat if it were about 2,500 miles closer. Gorgeous!

I made an inquiry regarding the horn, and will let you all know what, if anything, I hear in response.
Additionally, I'm surprised by all the folks posting about how nice of a project this Credenza would be, and then lamenting about the distance. Here's the deal. You all need a can-do attitude. Contact the seller. Negotiate the price down a little bit, and utilize an amazing website called http://www.uship.com to get this Credenza from Idaho to your door. Distances aren't insurmountable. A little research into some quality shippers goes a long way. It'd be nice to see someone get out of their chair and save this.

Hey, now. I tried to get a machine from NJ to RI via UShip, it was gonna cost me nearly as much as the phonograph itself. And that was for an Actuelle, 120lbs. dripping wet! Can do? Can't pay!
Maybe you'll be the one to step up and buy it! C'mon -- you know you want it!
(Besides, How'm I s'posed to get it from Spokane to Idaho?)
