Orthophonic reproducer
Does the Victor Orthophonic reproducer require any special needle type ??

No, it can accept standard steel, Tungs-Tone, Fibre, or Thorn needles.

Actually, the "Everplay" needle works very good in a Orthophonic. I think there is a member offering them....

Mine sounds really crappy - very distorted, low volumn level, buzzing, etc. I guess I need the reproducer rebuilt.

It is not a fast process, but it is a good one.

Tip-try not messin about with one,unless you have lots of repairs under youre belt
