Thanks! No, i didn't get a Amberola for Christmas. But i hope to get one soon!
I played this Blue Amberol on my Standard A on 4-minute setting with a model-H reproducer.
This may not sound as good as a Diamond reproducer, but i'm satisfied with the recording.

Ah ha! Your standard model A has the two and 4 minute gearing. Well then you are set. I agree that the recording is fine.
