Victor must have had a really fine plating department, because the nickel on your XI looks great. In fact, it was the bright, shiny, flawless nickel plating on my XI that really sold me on the machine that I've owned for 33+ years now. I swear it could have looked no better the day it left Camden!

Yeah Henry the nickle cleaned up pretty good considering what it looked like when I got it, thanks Zenith...I got my eye on a
VV-220 now that the guy wants 175.00 for I'm hoping to get it for 125.00, I should know this weekend. Its a family owned for its
entire life and appears to look pretty good just very dusty, but it has good gold plating and the records they offered to go with it.

Great find and you can't beat the price. This is the kind of stuff that keeps our thrill of the hunt alive. You just never know what you will find or where.

$125 wouldn't be bad for a VV-220 if it's got records with it. If you get it, check those records good. When I lived in southwestern WV about 15 years ago, I once got a Starr at an estate auction that was completely filled with 1920s blues and hillbilly records. I paid a whole $50 for all.ejackett wrote:Yeah Henry the nickle cleaned up pretty good considering what it looked like when I got it, thanks Zenith...I got my eye on a
