Nice idea for temporary belts while working on a machine restoration project until everything is aligned and a new belt is made (acquired) from leather.

Thanks

I'm about to try this myself on the un-restored Standard B my wife gave me for Christmas.

I am using theatrical spike-tape, as I do not have "duck-tape" around.

Why would you bother when a period correct leather belt is just as easy to make :?
