Columbia-Harper Bubble Books for children

Post by briankeith »

Today I was scouting out a local antique co-op I like to visit now & then in Summit New Jersey when I came across a set of 14 (not really sure if the set is 100% complete) Columbia-Harper childrens "Bubble Books" - each containing 3 little one-sided kiddie records. The books are in pretty decent shape - 14 books in all, very clean. Each is numbered on the cover 1 - 14. The records look like they were hardly ever played and are the size of Liile Wonder records, very small 78 RPM, recorded on one side only. Do these have any real value to record collectors or maybe childrens book collectors? I bought them all for $60.00. I really think they are cool BUT my better half protested my purchase  ????

Turn it into a profit and demonstrate that your hobby can pay for itself.
Do that a few times, the protesting will ease. ;)
