Post by rodpickett »

I am saddened to inform of Wendell’s passing on Monday, 10 February 2014 at age 93.

A long-time antique-phonograph enthusiast, Wendell will be best remembered for his kindness, knowledge and re-publication of the “The Edison Phonograph Monthly”.

Condolences may be addressed to:

Mrs. Wendell (Jean) Moore

Wendell lived on the Indiana side of the Ohio River when I was living in Louisville during my high school years. I first met Wendell in 1972 and visited he and Mrs. Moore on many occasions at their home there and even at their home in Sedona in the 1980's. I recall marveling at his Skelly 'Concertophone'. RIP, Wendell.
