Great Value of Yankee Trader Section

Post by Valecnik »

No, nothing for sale so not sure if this post fits here but I just wanted to comment on what a great location Yankee Trader has become for buying/selling objects related to the hobby. None of the hassles, none of the ridiculously high costs charged by eBAY and good people to deal with. Of course one should still be careful in your transactions regardless of where one buys/sells.

Anyway, hats off to our Moderator for making this forum one of my first stops in the morning! :)

Yes, thanks indeed. A visit here, accompanied by my morning coffee, is now part of my daily routine. Great folks, interesting discussions, and a good place to find needed stuff. Can't tell you how much I have learned here!

Clay,

You're absolutely right.
The Yankee Trader and a cup of :coffee: at 5:30 AM are a great way to start the day.
While were at it;
I've been the recipient of two nice machines thanks to the generosity of others who posted them in the eBay/Craigslist Alert Section.
I've tried to reciprocate when I see something that I think might be a good deal for someone.
There are many very nice and unselfish people on the TMF!

I agree that YT forum is a great place. I have gotten many good items from the YT forum. I know a lot of collectors who sell on ebay and have convinced some to sell on the YT forum. As Tony The Tiger say's It's Grrrreat!!

Our forum provides these venues to socialize, participate, exchange information,
and supply each other with the goods of our related hobby. How cool is that?!

Thanks to The Talking Machine Forum, I'll soon be offering-up a few more of my 78s! ;)

I too, have benefited from this portion of the forum, as well as other parts. This is a GREAT forum, and it is due in large part to HMV (Brandon). Thank you. Thank you for bringing us all together in a nice, polite, and well rounded forum where we can trade ideas, deals, and give and received advice. A sincere thank you from me. Many of my recent advances would not have been possible, but for this forum. THANK YOU!
