I find it most objectionable that someone would intentionally move the data plate. :roll:

That is an interesting conversion of a victrola cabinet. The VM changer must have a four pole motor to go with the VRII pickup. The amp on the left side looks to an an Eico unit. But I can't tell for sure. It may seem like a crime for this to have happened but at least this was done some time ago. The components may be worth more than the original victrola!
Back in the 70's I passed on a VTLA hi if conversion. This had a Garrard 301 with a Fisher system. I thought it was a affront to the old gal! But it would of been a nice mono system today with an elegant cabinet.
