I suspect many of you know about this already but, since I only discovered it today, maybe there's a few more who might like to know that the Library of Congress has over 10,000 historical recordings available to listen to on-line: http://www.loc.gov/jukebox/
I'm just beginning to play with this but it looks incredible.

Yes, it's been there for a few years now. Restricted to acoustical Victors / Victor issued matrices - I hope they'll expand it at some point - but still an excellent resource.
