Hello
Many years ago I acquired a phonograph in Paris and cleaned it up after returning to Canada. I believe it is an HMV machine. It has a very similar dimensions as a late model Victor II. Does anyone know if it is an HMV and if so what model it might be?
The cabinet is 9 ¾ by 9 ¾, 12 ⅞ by 12 ⅞ at the base, and 6 ½ tall.
Thanks
Bruce

It appears to be a HMV Junior Monarch (circa 1910-12 ??). Perhaps a French version...??. However, I could be wrong. Nice machine...

Yes it does appear to be a Junior Monarch, but earlier than 1910/12. That style of transfer was discontinued in about 1908, and at about the same time the wooden horn became available as an extra cost option.
