WANTED: "Oh, Dear, What Can The Matter Be?" for Bubble Book
My "Little Mischief Bubble Book" is missing "Oh Dear, What Can The Matter Be?". It's a Harper- Columbia "Book That Sings" disc.

I wouldn't call myself a collector of Bubble Books as such, but I have three, and various other colourful albums of small children's 78s - beautiful ephemera.briankeith wrote:Another Bubble Book collector just like meWe are a rare breed

I have only two, and as this is missing the one disc I thought I'd take a stab at completing it.

Re: WANTED: "Oh, Dear, What Can The Matter Be?" for Bubble B
For what it's worth - I found most of my Bubble Books (the Harper-Columbia original versions) at used book stores. Used book stores seem to always have one or two stashed in the childrens section although sometimes a record is broken or missing. They were played with very hard by the children of yesteryear and most are found in pretty bad shape, especially the fragile book binding and record pockets. EBay ones are usually in terrible condition but the ones lurking in the old used books stores (when you can find a store) are usually in pretty nice shape - like the one I bought at a used book store recently in Lambertville New Jersey. Guys, in my opinion Yankee Trader is for buying and selling & it's kinda frustrating to get a reply that is along the lines of "Oh I like those". If this is going to turn into a Bubble Books thread please take it to the main page.
