WANTED: Victor Model I brass horn FOUND

Post by Bartman »

Ok, got my Model I and decided that I'd rather have the original brass horn instead of the "morning glory" one. If you have one or know where I can find one, I'd be very grateful! I'm told John Duffy might have one? Thanks!

Until you get an original, you can get a good reproduction from Wyatt's Musical American, or possibly from Ron Sitko. They are good representations. The only difference is the bell. The original horn has a 9 ½ bell, and the reproduction has a 9" bell. At least the machine will be somewhat complete. Like I said in a previous post, original small Victor horns are tough to find.
