I know this is a long shot, but I'm going to ask anyway. About a month ago, I got very lucky and got an Edison Suitcase Home with a brass mandrel. It has an S/N in the low 3000's. I put it away to work on other projects. I have been following the discussion on the early skeletonized Edison Home. I looked at mine. I had a pleasant surprise. It has the early motor with brass governor weights. The bedplate has the short slot with the bump in it. The decal sits high on the case. The machine came with a C reproducer with the arm. I would like to get an automatic reproducer to bring this machine as though it appeared in 1898. It doesn't matter if the reproducer needs work on it or not. I would send it away for a rebuild. Any direct sales, trades or leads will be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find the "Hollywood Spotlight", "Flashing Neon Sign", or "Air Horn" text format buttons to make the Guidelines more noticeable, so I had to make do.Jerry B. wrote:Harvey, Please do us a favor and follow the guidelines and change this thread to: WANTED: Edison Automatic Reproducer... so we don't have to look at a page of "READ THIS FIRST..." Hi Brian, I saw that. Too bad it's a recorder. Thanks for the lead.
