FOR SALE: Nice Edison Model A/B Triumph Phonograph - SOLD

I am offering a very nice Triumph model A/B Phonograph. This one is complete and runs very well. The pictures tell the story. This is how we collectors like to find them in nice, unrestored condition. All I did on this one was to wipe it down and replace the missing rubber bumpers. I also added a nut to the shaver that was missing its plunger cap. This is probably the biggest, albeit insignificant, objection on this entire phonograph. George Vollema would be a great source for one for the new buyer if one was desired. The bedplate paint and pen striping are in way over average condition. You find most Triumphs of this era missing much of their pen striping. As well, it has a very solid original finish and Edison decal.

Overall, it is a great machine as is and could be a show piece with a little time and elbow grease. It has a strong motor and plays well through a 2 minute record. I really can't say anything bad about this machine. It is just a nice two minute hard to find Triumph. So, this one is going out pretty much as it was found. It will make a beautiful player for someone. It even has a nice original square hole crank - hard to come by if you don't have one. The Model C reproducer plays well with a good jewel.

This is called a Triumph A/B, as late in the Triumph A production, what would become the model B case was used. This was a transition and is found, though somewhat infrequently, today.

I really do not want to ship this one, but I will if pressed. However, I know that just the shipping cost will be around $100.00 or more if it is far away from the Midwest. I would be happy to deliver this to the Wayne show free of charge. I could also deliver to the Union show in June.
