Busy Bee Grand just completed
About a month ago I was at a garage sale where there were some phonograph parts. The seller mentioned he had a trailer "out back" with more parts in it. He said I could have all I wanted for $25.00! So, I picked up a few motors, etc and a simple, primitive-looking phonograph. When I got home, I researched it and discovered that I had a Busy Bee Grand. The only missing pieces were the horn, horn support and reproducer, which I obtained from Ron Haring (Thanks Ron!). I completed the phonograph last weekend. Thought you'd like to see it. Ro

Looks nice! I always liked those oddball Chicago machines. Do you mind posting a photo of the reproducer?

Here is a copy of the reproducer. It has an aluminum diaphragm, which I painted to match the horn.
