FOR SALE: Very unusual off-brand machine - INQUIRE
I am parting with a couple of machines and wish to offer this super unusual off-brand machine that I had talked about on the forum last year. No makers name - oak top and oak base - faux wood large metal drum between the top and bottom - heavy cast iron grille - thick oak post with large studs between the post holding the hole thing together. Quite large but with a tiny single spring motor, aprox. 17x17x11 with a 10" turntable. Replacement felt, rebuilt Perfection reproducer. Tone arm and other metal parts need a good polishing. Plays ok but can barely play one side of a 10" record without a re-wind. Very under-powered BUT very cool looking talking machine. Speed control and brake seem to work as they should. Original crank. Motor is a bit noisy. One small needle cup. I am going to Wayne if anyone is interested. Offers?
