That photograph is actually from the annual "Jazz Lawn Parties" held each summer on Governor's Island in NYC by Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra (an 11-member 1920's style band). The fellow with the phonographs plays records while the band is on break.

The next dates are June 14 & 15, 2014. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves vintage music!
