I've seen several of these abominations on the 'bay recently that are faux cylinder machines, and the sellers have the audacity to ask for well over $100 dollars for them and virtually all claim them to be "rare Edison Home" phonographs!

A number of these kinds of things made to casually look like old phonographs when the cases were closed up were on the market maybe 20 or so years ago. A fad at the time.
