I have this same machine, also in Golden Oak. It is big and impressive. I would go so far as to say "stunning" , if you are a fan of Golden Oak.
Four-spring motor, auto-brake, Ultona soundbox... build quality every bit as good as Victor...
This looks like a decent deal, although the bent lid arm, and the lid sitting slightly askew have me a little curious.
Hope it finds a good home !

Excellent machine. That is one of Brunswick's top of the line machines. This machine in golden oak is scarce. How about it Mike or Scott? You guys are close to it. It will be a welcome addition in your collection.

Does this Ultona tonearm suffer the same pot-metal disaster described here?De Soto Frank wrote:Ultona soundbox... build quality every bit as good as Victor...

I have two Brunswick uprights, a 117 mahogany, and a 120 golden oak.
Neither one have problems down in the tone-arm base flange.
The 117 had the Ultona head seized on its swivel- mount, but I was able to get that loosened-up.
The 120 had the big end of the taper-tube broken where the smaller section telescopes in & out.
Parts are available. Try George Vollema at Great Lakes Phonograph or Wyatts in Cali.
Or post a Wanted note on the Yankee Trader...

I had the same concerns about the lid as well. Probably an easy fix, but I'm also partial to mahogany.Phonofreak wrote:Excellent machine. That is one of Brunswick's top of the line machines.
