I am Graham. The acronym is derived from my abiding interest in all things EMG and my initials---GCR.

My name is Chuck Richards. I've had a lifelong
interest in Edison cylinder phonographs. Mostly
I've focused on recording one's own cylinders.

Back in 1978, I started the research which eventually
led to being able to make brown wax Edison blanks.

In 2009, I finally got the cylinder mold up and running,
and started casting blanks.

In 2010, they were first offered for sale.

It took 32 years of work, on and off, before I was
confident enough in these blanks to offer them for
use by anyone other than myself.

Well there's possibly little surprise here but my name is actually Stephen Miller. Yes, Stephen with a ph and not a v. Nearly everyone I've ever known and certainly friends have abbreviated my name to 'Steve' with my blessing and that's perfectly fine with me; no formalities here! Only my parents ever call me Stephen anyway!

Sounds familiar. When I was a kid and my parents called me by my formal name, I knew I was in big trouble. :D
