I just picked up one of these. Can someone guide me to any manuals or where I might search for parts?
Thank you!

Hi SFischer!
Welcome to the board. Obviously, ebay would be one source of parts. Certainly our Yankee Trader area would be a place for a "Parts Wanted" ad. Some photos of your machine would be welcome because there were a lot of different Ediphone configurations over the years. While not suited for general entertainment cylinder use, they are interesting artifacts of the high-tech office of yesterday. I'm sure others will have better ideas of what is out there.
Regards,
Martin

Martin,
Thank you! I will post some pictures in the next day or so. I will also look at the Yankee Trader area.

Yes, welcome. As Martin mentioned...our Yankee Trader is a place to look for "wants". You may also want to try and PM our member "Chuck". He seems to have a great knowledge regarding these Dictaphone machines.
Best of luck...

Re: Edison Ediphone Grand Prize Worlds Fair Dictaphone
Phonograph collectors generally don't collect later dictation equipment like this because while the Ediphone and the Dictaphone (two different brands made by two different companies) have common ancestors, dictation machines have a thread pitch of 150tpi, whereas entertainment machines are pitched at 100 and/or 200tpi. This means that you can't play entertainment cylinders on dictation machines.
There is a fellow named Erich Von Grimmenstein who owns an office automation company in Indianapolis, Indiana called VanAusdall & Farrar. The business started as Erich's grandfather's Ediphone dealership, and Erich is probably the foremost authority on Ediphones and related office dictation equipment. He has a wonderful museum in the lobby. Try googling his company and speak with Erich.
