Kirtley,
As someone from just down the road, I have to say that my favourite machine from about 40 phonographs and gramophones has to be my columbia BF.
Although most of my machines are Edison, I love the serpentile case of the Columbia machines.

Rich,

Your crane has a lower section meant for a horizontal carriage. The proper lower section for a 45-degree carriage has a reduced step-back so the horn will be positioned vertically over the machine. Ron Sitko can supply you with the correct lower section.

Thanks George. Wasn't paying attention, I do have the correct lower section.

Thanks

Well, in my case it's not very difficult to choose a Favorite machine. I only have one...
So, if i had to choose, i would say my Standard A is my favorite. I enjoy the good music everyday.

The question is analogous to this: "If you could keep only one finger, which one would it be?" It's just not possible for me to make a good choice. You do it for me! :)

Well, George, I vote for your Illustrated Song Machine. :D

Hold the phone(o)! Does this mean we all get to choose something we want to keep from George's collection!? I'm next in line! :D
