Kirtley,
As someone from just down the road, I have to say that my favourite machine from about 40 phonographs and gramophones has to be my columbia BF.
Although most of my machines are Edison, I love the serpentile case of the Columbia machines.
Alistair,
Your favorite machine from your entire collection?

Your crane has a lower section meant for a horizontal carriage. The proper lower section for a 45-degree carriage has a reduced step-back so the horn will be positioned vertically over the machine. Ron Sitko can supply you with the correct lower section.

Well, in my case it's not very difficult to choose a Favorite machine. I only have one...
So, if i had to choose, i would say my Standard A is my favorite. I enjoy the good music everyday.

The question is analogous to this: "If you could keep only one finger, which one would it be?" It's just not possible for me to make a good choice. You do it for me!Valecnik wrote:And remember…. just one!cleveland1996 wrote:Ok George, since you have spoken, let's here from you. What's your favorite?
