1. What is Jasper?

2. I would love to see the Sanfilippo estate while I'm there... I'm registered on their website, but I haven't seen any announcements. I found the info on this site last year when someone posted a video and it was mentioned that the estate is opened to the phonograph enthusiasts attending Union... anyone have any info on this?

Thanks,

Edward
You answered your own question, sort of. Jasper SanFilippo :D

LOL... Yes I did... Thank you...I guess I'm just not on a first name basis with him.

The estate will be open on Saturday night, June 14th for the phono show enthusiasts and anyone else. If you can't find the address listed (as I couldn't) I believe there are directions available at the show.
There's a $20.00 charitable donation fee requested at the door. The evening is somewhat structured. You're allowed to wander about, helped by friendly docents demonstrating various instruments, while in the main theatre there's a magnificent concert by the automatic theatre pipe organ, perhaps the finest in the world. The last hour is devoted to the "back building," which houses a wonderful restored carousel along with unbelievable orchestrions, locomotives and other large machinery. Jasper himself has had the pleasure of pulling the switch to start the first carousel ride. It's a hoot to see all the people (many middle-aged and older) scramble for the seats on the carousel, like eager little children. There's no one without a smile! Definitely memorable!

Will be there at Union with some of my new double spiral blanks and a few recordings. I will demonstrate them.
