If it were a few hundred miles closer, I'd grab it... :(

This is about 1.5 hrs from me. If someone buys it and wants it picked up, let me know. I can hold it for shipping later, or if anyone is passing thru Memphis, I can hold it for them to pick up. It is a nice looking machine. I have a walnut VV 130 coming and 2 more edison DD machines. I cannot keep it, but I will help someone pick it up if I can.

Beautiful phonograph, the VV-XIV is my favorite Victrola anyway and to have it in walnut is an added bonus! If only I lived closer. :(

That's not bad at all, considering my mahogany XVI ran me $320. Of course, it's about 10 years older, but still....

I asked the seller whether it had been refinished and what the serial # was. This was his response:

Matt
The serial number is VV-111 7832
Yes it appears that the cabinet may of had some type of
stripping or heavy cleaning. As I said we have had it for 25 years with
only dusting and maybe some house hold furniture polish.
The inside looks to have a gloss finish. Maybe a varnish.
I am home after 5pm during the week. Will be here most of today.
Next Fri-Sat I will not be available.
Please ask if you have anymore questions.
