Hi everyone
I picked up this Red Banner Home recently, I know it's in rough shape but what I'm wondering about is the 2 clip carriage. From my understanding the new style red banner case started around 41,000.
This Home is 44130, so is it possible that about 3000 Homes after the new case started Edison was still using up 2 clip carriages. My first thought was the carriage had been changed at some point. But the whole machine seems pretty original just neglected. So what do you guys think, is the information available showing when the 2 clip carriage was dropped.
Thanks for your help,
Best Regards, Larry

Re: Help with Home 2 clip carriage info
Home No.44130 left the factory about October 1901, so original equipment would have been an Automatic. This carriage is appropriate for it.

George, thank you for the help and information. It's nice that's it original, it's just a tad different than most of the other red banner Homes.Home No.44130 left the factory about October 1901, so original equipment would have been an Automatic. This carriage is appropriate for it
