Thanks to everyone for all the help and tips, I greatly appreciate it! This is by far the most intricate cabinet I have attempted- never mind adding the the phono into it. I'll throw some more pics up as I go. The project I did before this one which probably lead me to the Victor was a "record cabinet" I got at a garage sale for 20 bucks and restored. It will make a nice companion piece to the Victor but I have not been able to find much info on it. Anyone have an idea who made these?

The styling on your record cabinet suggests late 1930s or 1940s to me. It would seem to match several Sheraton style radio-phonographs of this period that I have seen.

Awesome job on the XVII!!!!! I wish I was as organized as you. I noticed a wood bracket you made for the doors. Nice idea. Do you still need a crank for it? I can dig through my piles to see if I have one.
