Paper Horn For Polly Portable Phonograph
Greetings from the O Coast. My collection of portable phonographs is growing. Recently, a Polly Portable came my way. Too bad it is in need of some parts, one of them being the folding horn. Does anyone make a suitable replacement? TNX, Russie

There were some discussions about how to make such a horn not too long ago. Just search for Polly. One thread was about a Brunswick Parisian, which is a different name for a Polly Portable.

Re: Paper Horn For Polly Portable Phonograph
Andreas, Thank you for that information. I followed your advise and did an online search. Whew! There are numerous entries relating to the Polly and Parisienne portables. I even found several links to this forum where others had inquired about a suitable replacement. The cone on mine is a dark green color, and others appear to be black, tan or basket weave. One person had even created the graphics. Conclusion is that no one makes them as a regularly available item, just one offs now and then. I wouldn't mind tackling the job of copying them, so if none turns up in the next few months, maybe I will. Again thanks, Russie
