Yes, he has moved on to other things....like an Edison/Bergmann tinfoil, Bell & Tainters, unique Class M's, etc. If (the long-ago-banned) BostonMike only knew what Aaron's collection and respect in the community would grow to be!Dischoard wrote: Thu Oct 23, 2025 5:07 pm Ha! yeah, that dude is 30 now and has most likely moved on to other things... Damn, was about to ask if he wanted a couple large brass horns that needed love and care.JerryVan wrote: Mon Oct 20, 2025 11:54 am
Also, good to notice that the original posting was done 16 years ago.
(But yes, the location thing would be nice to know.)
I feel like we all just got taste of old legend and lore of the days of old on the ol' Talking Machine Forumcmshapiro wrote: Thu Oct 23, 2025 7:32 pmYes, he has moved on to other things....like and Edison/Bergmann tinfoil, Bell & Tainters, unique Class M's, etc. If (the long-ago-banned) BostonMike only knew what Aaron's collection and respect in the community would grow to be!Dischoard wrote: Thu Oct 23, 2025 5:07 pm Ha! yeah, that dude is 30 now and has most likely moved on to other things... Oh...and his parents did NOT fund the fantastic pieces in his collection. Aaron works very hard and is extremely smart. If this "BostonMike" had only been brilliant enough to get to where Aaron is now, perhaps he would have been smart enough not to bully a kid (it was far more than just this old thread) who possessed a strong interest and drive to get into the hobby. It is a good thing that at 15 years of age, Aaron was smarter than "BostonMike" and did not let the foolishness scare him off. Aaron is now a highly accomplished collector and an active APS board member, helping to make the hobby better for all in the community.
