WTB The Following Things

Post by Aaron »

Hey everyone,

So i have been itchin to get a project and i thought maybe this year at Wayne i could pick one up.Its easier for me to pick these things up at the show and pay in cash, but if you have something you think i want and you cant make it to Wayne tell me anyway and ill see what we can do.

So here are some things i am interested in:
  • Early Columbia Graphophones--I want something earlier that wont put me overboard with price though. I was thinking of an AG but i really only want an all original machine so that i can restore it myself.

Brown wax--- i am interested in bad wax to be shaved along with good cylinders.

Weird cylinder boxes-- any weird cylinder box i love them all if anyones got any just pm me.

And i need a place to keep them so i need a carying case/display if anyone has one.

Also any original exhibition items.I love the home made carrying cases and displays.

A Large brass horn--I would like a big one so if you have a crane too that would be nice

I also need a model B reproducer to play my brown wax on my Home Phonograph

And finally some recording equipment-- i am interested in horns cranes or tubes.

I am mostly looking for a machine and wax if anyone has them. Those are the two main things i would like the others are just extras. As a 14 year old i cant spend a lot but i do have enough for maybe the AG and something else. And it will be my birthday just after to show so make my birthday a good one by PM ing e-mailing me with a good price if you have anything, or even a leed to anyone that has anything.

Bests,
Aaron

ADDED: I'd also like to add that i would really like a Columbia N. I'd like that or the type AG. The N may be more in my price range though. And again I'd really like one in all original condition.

Aaron---Nice wish list. Either your parents fund your hobby or you are putting in a lot of overtime at McDonalds. When i was your age, my only "hobby" was girls, sports and getting laid------of which i paid my own way. Phonographs have withstood the test of time----your teenage years are fleeting. Enjoy them while you can. Michael
