Paul Whiteman's rendition on Victor must have been popular, as it turns up fairly often and can be had for under $20 (or am I wrong? ) ... I recall having a BELL record long ago, costing maybe 10cents at my local flea market. But no Blue Amberol? Horrors! Are the new producers of cylinders offering "Charleston"? That would be on my first list, if I were to make cylinders today. Not necessarily a dub, though.

The Bell record of The Charleston, played on a Sonora Elite, can be seen and heard on YouTube by courtesy of "victrolaman".

I was so impressed on first hearing it that I now have it playing every time I log on to YouTube. Here in the UK, it is the nearest I am likely to get to a copy of my own.
